This one’s pretty unique looking – what the heck is Suc Song? I would love to find out because I can’t find anything about it! Artificial pork flavor sounds good though!

Gomtang? Sounds pretty bizarre. I wonder what it means…

I found a little info on Wikipedia about this stuff:

No way, really? Way. Southern fried chicken. It’s funny because it took the British to come up with a fried chicken flavor of instant noodles! I don’t have a clue why Nissin or Maruchan picks up on this kind of thing and markets it in the US – it’d be so popular here. Alas, I fear they travel the safe road and ‘crazy’ is cheese flavored noodles. I should note though that Maruchan has made a Yakisoba bowl here that is Taco flavored – wish I could get my hands on it!
Pretty cool! Hey to all of you people coming here from neatorama! Enjoy and drop me a line! Pick me up on twitter or fb too while you’re at it. I usually do one or tweo instant noodle reviews a day so keep an eye open!

Okay so I reviewed Samyang’s Kalgugsu a long time ago and it said it was assorted clam flavored noodle soup. This one just says its Korean noodle soup, however its got mussels, anchovy, bonito, shrimp tuna and mushroom going on too. I wouldn’t call it assorted clam flavor this time around – more like assorted flavor flavor.

So This one got reviewed at the studios of KIRO 97.3 FM yesterday – here’s a video of me making and trying it.

So here’s an interesting looking one. The noodles are made of mung bean! Bean thread! Let’s check out these noodles from Thailand!

I have to say, when I see a box like this with any kind of mayonnaise-like stuff going on, I get really hungry!

So on our recent trip to the new Bellevue Uwajimaya, we got a 5-pack of this stuff. My lady Kit really enjoyed the Myojo Charmela stuff so I thought maybe this would be something she would like too.

Yep – here’s another of the Sau Tao’s. I’m just going to go through all of them in a row I think. This is Chicken and Abalone – kind of a new twist on ‘surf and turf’ eh? Anyways…

So here’s one my lady Kit brought me back from California! Cup Noodles Chicken Vegetable time!

Wow – Fuku! Pretty awesome name I think! My sister brought these back from Canada. Let’s try em’ out!

So here’s something new from Payless – Paincit Shanghai. I’ve had numerous Pancit Canton varieties in the past. Somebody once commented I should try the Shanghai and alluded to it being hot and spicy. We shall see!

So here’s another one my sister brought me back from Canada! Definitely a flavor you can’t find here in the states.

So here’s something new – a bowl noodle from Hong Kong by Sau Tao (Sun Shun Fuk). Shall we?

So I reviewed this one a really long time ago and thought it really needed to be brought out again. I don’t even remember what score I gave it, but it’s being prepared no doubt a little different this time and so we shall see how it fares. I remember liking it a great deal.

So this morning, I had an interview on KWLE ‘The Whale’ from Anacortes, Washington! It was a lot of fun and I’d like to thank Glen and everyone at KWLE for doing the interview! Here’s a video of the studio cam and the interview!

So here’s another of Vina Acecook’s line of ‘Daily’ instant noodles, hot & sour with shrimp. Sounds good to me; the picture on the front is definitely enticing…

Check this one out! This is manufactured in California. Not foreign! Interesting… Let’s give it a try!

Another one from California! Thanks my lovely Kitten! So this should be good I hope! Onward!

So here’s one we got a Megalomanianmart the other day. Was nice to see there was another flavor out there; I think this stuff’s pretty okay. One thing I noticed – the other two I’ve reviewed say ‘with chicken’ or ‘with shrimp,’ and this one just says ‘beef flavor.’ Kind of interesting I thought.

Always a big fan of the Doll brand stuff. Spicy pork huh? Awesome – sounds like a part of a wholesome breakfast!

So here’s something interesting. This is for the health conscious noodle fan – from Korea, we have Nongshim’s Noodle Lite 275.

Here’s another new one brought from California by my lovely lady. Thanks, Kit! On with the review!

So here’s one my lady got for me – chili flavor Top Ramen! So cool – dueling Chili flavor products back to back! Let’s rock!

So when I’m not eating instant noodles, I eat other things. Here’s one of them. A can of Progresso Light Chicken Noodles soup with some dehydrated onion and a spoonful of Mae Ploy yellow curry and a few dozen grains of rice in there. Pretty awesome stuff.

So today I opted for something different from Nissin – Top Ramen Picante Beef. Kind of funny; why don’t they make a teriyaki beef or a stir fry flavor over here? Anyways, here we go…

Alright -first off, it’s my lady Kit’s birthday today! Happy Birthday I love you!!! She was just in California and brought me back some noodles. I thought there were only two varieties of this stuff – apparently I was wrong! So here we go!

So I asked my lady Vietnamese, Korean or Filipino noodles today? She said Korean. So I picked this one to try. It’s quite unique as it’s the first round big bowls I’ve ever seen with a drain spout. Let’s begin.

So here’s another one of these by Paldo. It shall be today’s breakfast/lunch.

One solitary packet of love.

So this has been one I’ve been curious about for a while. It’s lurked in my ramen box, quietly asking me to try it from time to time. I heeded its call, and tonight gave it the trappings of a fine bowl of noodles.

So I’ve reviewed a lot of bowl noodles. I’m confused as to how Paldo, Samyang and Nongshim all have them and they’re all called bowl noodle. Spicy chicken is pretty common – let’s see how this is.

This is one of those that I’ve only found in 5 packs and had to go ahead and get it. Been so curious about this one and I mean the packaging is probably one of the coolest I’ve seen yet. I wish this guy would come to my town and toot on his trumpet – I’d gladly buy a bowl of noodles from him! I think I can say happily, “screw the ice cream man – this guy’s way cooler.”

So haven’t seen this one before so I snagged it today. Its a little hefty actually and seemed much bigger than most packages…

This is definitely the most unique of all the packages of noodles I have ever found. Let’s get started.

So here we go – an even larger container of Nong Shim Shin Ramyun!

Styrofoam! Ready for battle!!!

Some new stuffs of happiness from the folks at Vina Acecook – we have vegetarian flavour. I’m enthused! I’m curious if this will taste like a vegetarian – vegetarian created with Japanese technology, that is!
