If you like walking around and eating things, instant noodle cups may be the way to go for your. Personally, I enjoy sitting in front of a bowl, but we don’t always have that convenience, so people opt for the convenience of something more portable, and here we are. These are my favorite cups that I’ve reviewed out of the reviews up to #4440. I’m always on the lookout for new varieties from everywhere in the world – whether they be cups, bowls, packs – any noodles I’ve not reviewed I’m very interested in sampling them. Please contact me if you’re a noodle company and you’d like me to try your products! With that, let’s peruse The Ramen Rater’s Global Top Ten Instant Noodle Cups 2024 edition.

#10: Fan’s Kitchen Premium Instant Noodles With Stewed Beef Flavour – China
Noodles are flat with a soft texture. They’re unique in that they’re a little thicker than most. The broth is a nicely oily beef flavored one – not overly salty, either. Very impressed with this one. I should mention there are a few more in this range worth trying. Original review
#9: mi ABC Mi Goreng Mi Instan Cup Stir-Fry Noodles – Indonesia
The noodles are light which lends itself nicely here. Flavors intermingle well – spicy, sweet and savory. This is a very good mi goreng and highly enjoyed by this reviewer. Original review
#8: Mamee Chef Curry Laksa Flavour – Malaysia
These noodles are produced using Mamee Chef’s ‘Mi Tarik’ technology which emulates hand pulled noodles. The broth has a rich and luxuriant curry flavor and is augmented by a myriad of garnish including little tofu puffs. Original review
#7: Hai Chi Jia Golden Soup Sour Spicy Vermicelli – China
The vermicelli come out right right, as it has in the other varieties I’ve tried from this brand. The broth is a nice mix of sesame paste and just enough Sichuan pepper. Included vegetables were on point. Really quite savory and flavorful and the peanuts provide a nice little extra. Original review
#6: iMee Chicken Green Curry – Thailand
I honestly expected a kind of boring variety here but was very wrong about that. The green curry flavored broth is absolutely luxuriant and very flavorful. The noodle suits is just perfectly – definitely not one to pass up if you can find it – nor it’s red curry counterpart either. Original review
#5: Liangshi Nara Japanese Noodles (Salted Egg Crab Flavor) – China
The noodles are thin but nicely chewy for an instant. Three minutes brought them to life perfectly. The flavor is a real show stopper – a nice blast of salted egg and a strong crab are augmented with a buttery taste – the whole experience is just sensational and very tasty. A little herb sachet rounds things out. Original review
#4: Noodie Peanut Chili Irresistible Ramen – United States
These reminded me of some kind of 25th century instant noodle. Noodles are light with a slight chew. The sheer amount of vegetable is great and since they’re freeze dried they add a lot of flavor. The peanut sauce and chili sauce compliment each other masterfully. I would recommend pouring them over instead of stirring them in – I’ll definitely be doing this one again and doing so as it was hard to find the chili sauce when I stirred it all up – but honestly when I did it was just wonderful stuff. Truly a product that is worthy of it’s fancy packaging. Original review
#3: Hai Chi Jia Jiao Ma Guo Ma Fen – China
Noodle was as expected – a sweet potato thread. The broth was a very nice balanced mala flavor – not overly reliant on Sichuan peppercorn and quite savory. The rice crisp work wonderfully here and added a nice texture. Included vegetables were plentiful and delicious. Original review
#2: MyKuali Penang Hokkien Prawn Noodle Authentic Taste – Malaysia
If you like prawn like I like prawn, and I really like prawn, you’re going to be exceedingly enthused about this variety. The sheer amount of prawniness is just wonderful – a thick, sweet and spicy broth, great noodles, and included fried onion just come together so well. Original review
#1: MyKuali White Fish Broth Cup Noodle – Malaysia
Winding up at the number one spot again this year! Just love this one. A good noodle paired with the new White Fish Broth. It’s salty, full of flavor, has a good oiliness and thickness (has a feel like a chowder) and is just super good. Vegetables include little pepper rings that add a little zing. Excellent! Original review
The Return Of The Ramen Rater Diet
A few years back, I started a diet after my doc told me I should. So I did – lost 160lbs with a combo of walking and eating less. Well, after my mom died and getting COVID, I slacked off. Then I visited my doctor and started back up. Here you can see info on what I did and maybe it can help you too. By the way I tell you how I did it in the first 20 seconds.
Artificial Intelligence Meet Instant Noodles
I’ve been having a lot of fun creating images with Dall-E 2. I thought that maybe I could make some that could be useful for what I do, and sure enough, I could. Starting June 19th, 2023, the backgrounds I’m using (for the most part) have all been created using Dall-E 2 and different text prompts. It’s really neat having more of a hand in the backgrounds I use. I’ve even used them in concert with Adobe Photoshop Beta’s ‘Generative Fill’ feature. You’ll start seeing these new backgrounds in images I share soon and currently in the graphic and thumbnail for this top ten list.
A Petition To Benefit Those In Need
For the last few years, a thought has been bouncing around in my head. Why is there a spot to donate a dollar to elections on tax returns? I think that little spot can be better by donating a dollar or some set amount to Veterans who are living in poverty. At the end of tax season, the donations can go to all who qualify. I think that would be a good thing. I started a petition to do this, and if you’re in the USA, you can sign it here and please feel free to share it around! Thanks!
This year, I’ve decided to do a special series called Definitive Guides. Recipes, trivia, history, and more on some of the most loved and fascinating varieties of instant noodles around the world! So far, I’ve got one on Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun, and Indomie’s Mi Goreng and Nissin Foods’ Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice! Future guides will include MAMA Tom Yum, and more. My plan is do feature one or two products from each country.
