#2167: Great Value Vegetable Flavour Noodles With Vegetables

Here’s one my sister got me from up in Canada for my birthday! Thank you! Walmar instant noodles!

I have a sad announcement to make. On 7/31/2016 at 4:40am, I bumped into the little container that held my sake cups that I use to display the contents of seasoning sachets. Got these as a birthday present in 2012, and they first went into service in review #684. At first I thought I’d only lost two, but I gave the other two that fell with them a little squeeze and another of the little white cups made a creaking sound, so it’s cracked through. Some might find my sadness a little bizarre, but I think many will understand that you get used to using tools and when they’re gone, it really, really sucks. Hoping I can find the same ones – I’ve looked before but never seen them again. Most likely, I’ll get a new set – they will show up for review #2168.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add boiling water to fill line and let steep covered for 3 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.

A little bit of the vegetables from the cup.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, tofu puff, spring onion and cilantro. The noodles are pretty good – a little crumbly. The broth has that kind of butter and broccoli taste to it; very meh on this application. The actual bits of vegetable in with this cup were so-so. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars.  UPC bar code 628915242102.
