Today’s Father’s Day and me and the boy are going to have some noodles. He picked out this variety, of which I had two and hadn’t reviewed yet. He’s gonna have some kamaboko on his and I’m going to have some veggies in mine.
Here’s the back of the packaging (click image to enlarge).
The noodle block.
Seasoned powder on left and chili powder on the right. Andy skipped on the hot stuff!
Here’s the seasoning powder and the chili powder.
Seasoned oil.
A light yellowish tinge.
Here’s Andy’s – he requested eight slices of kamaboko. I added the almond in and he was pretty happy about that. He gave it 4.5 out of 5.0.
If we’re lucky, our faces will stick like this. Happy Father’s Day!
Finished (click image to enlarge). Added some mixed vegetables, some Blue Diamond Oven Roasted almonds, some Ajishima Kimchi furikake, and finally some roasted seaweed. Well, the noodles as usual are quite good. The broth however has a kind of strange flavor to it that I really wasn’t too keen on. It was slightly similar to the flavor in the Vegan Mi goreng, but didn’t work as well. Andy was very kind on this one, but I think he liked his kamaboko more. I didn’t like this one all that much. 2.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 089686011999 .
Indonesian Veggie Bakso Noodle Soup video – aside from really wanting one of these hats, this looks quite good!
My dad thought this guy was really quite humorous.
