This comes by way of BNB Global – thanks! So Bibim Men is a cold noodle dish – you cook and drain the noodle, rinse with cold water and then add the sauce. This is a variety of tteokbokki, rice cake tubes which are soft and thoroughly enjoyable. This uses the same type of sauce as in the cold noodle, however it’s hot. I don’t think chilling tteokbokki would work so well – probably would make them tough. Regardless, this sounds interesting and I’m very interested. Let’s give it a try!
This is an interesting one. While it says it is a stir-fried chicken flavor, below that it mentioned it has artificial chicken and beef flavor. I’m very curious – it sounds interesting. I’m excited as I’ll be reviewing some more Paldo stuff soon. Let’s check this one out – I think I found it at S*Mart in Bellevue, Washington.

Today is December 25th, 2022. Ham flavor macaroni soup? Yeah – for really though! I’ve had the chicken flavor by this brand as well, and there are a few other brands out of Hong Kong that do different flavors including tonkotsu! Let’s give this ham variety a try.

Well, simply put, Simply Asia, thus far, things haven’t panned out very well… This is the last of the Simply Asia noodle bowls I’ve got for review, and the last couple were real doozies. Hopefully, this one will break the chain of disappointment! Let’s give it a go.

Okay so first off, a big thanks to A-Sha for sending one of these! Second off, this is a very premium box. Within are noodles, sauce/seasonings, and then some very fancy extras. This box retails for $199. Yeah – that’s a lot. I often tell people when they’re sick there’s nothing better than noodles. Well, that’s maybe if you have influenza. This box however is if you have affluenza. Read on and see what is within!
Yeah, you heard that right – $200! Actually, $199 – but close enough. This is an ultra premium variety. I generally tell people that one of the best thing if you’re sick with the flu is to curl up with a bowl of noodles. Well, that’s influenza. If you’re suffering from the needs associated with affluenza, this might be the noodle you’re looking for. I should mention that at the time of this posting, they’re running a sale of it, so it’s $99 bucks and free shipping. Good timing with the holidays and all. I know, this is confusing to many. This is indeed made in China, but it’s packaged for the US market. That’s why it gets the United States suffix on the title. Anyways, the last one I had from this brand was quite good – hoping for more good things from this one!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 60-90 seconds. Drain and in all sachets and 250ml water. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Check this out! Myojo USA makes a slew of different fresh ramen and yakisoba. This time around, it’s personal. I’ve been a fan of the tray style fried noodle yakisoba for years and this particular Ippei-chan Yakisoba is with fresh noodles for the refrigerated section. I’ve tried it and it’s amazing – find it. Check out everything they sent!

The last two days of reviewing have been particularly grueling. The kitchen has been pretty warm even before boiling any water; super humid. Not used to it and it’s really quite uncomfortable. But I will continue on of course. Well, the last one of these I tried was really quite odd and so having gotten three varieties in all, I thought I should trudge onward and do the other two. I’m really quite curious what a spicy Mongolian bowl will taste like. Only one way to find out.
Definitely made in China, but definitely packaged only for sale in the United States. This one sounds interesting – let’s cold kick it live.

It’s true – some like it hot. This list is comprised of the hottest varieties I’ve tried – that are currently available as far as I can tell. In prior years, there were some that were so hot that the #1 on here was like cotton candy. That being said, I’m guessing there weren’t many repeat customers. This should be interesting! Haven’t reviewed anything from India in awhile. I’ve tried other Maggi Pazzta in the past, though. Let’s give this one a try!
