Wow! Uber packet! My curiosity is piqued!
Alrighty! Some Rhee Bros Assi Brand action going on here – let’s have a look….
So this is the last of the Fortune Udons. Was waiting for the right time to make it for my beloved Kit and right now I’m going to say that she finds it to be absolutely excellent.
Here’s the last of the Vina Acecook stuff I got from HT Oaktree Market a few weeks ago (sniff). Overall, I’ve been really really pleased with the Vina Acecook line and hope to sample more very soon! So here’s the beef Pho…
So here’s the second one of these Wai Wai packsI got recently. Says it’s very hot!
So this is an interesting packaging first off. The lid is made from a metal foil and underneath that is all plastic. Here goes some tom yum shrimp flavor!
So I got a message this morning from a gentleman in Denmark who thought that Indomie’s special fried curly noodles were some of the best stuff he’s ever had. I must agree! Coincidentally, I found a pack of this stuff sitting in the cupboard and thought that the barbecue chicken flavor really could use a re-review. So come on and follow me on a journey into the world of tasty noodles!
So this is something I have been meaning to try for a while and have been scoffed at for doing wrong in the past, so here goes. You’ll see quickly that this isn’t your standard pack of noodles…
So I have a box and it stores the noodles that I review. it originally contained meat ball noodles but most of all sorts of different kinds that are gonna b reviewed sooner or later.
So here’s some Wai Wai noodles. Let’s see how they are! One thing I should mention first is that it’s a little smaller than most packages of noodles and only calls for 300cc of water.
So here’s the last of these I have from HT Oaktree Market. Hope it’s good – been looking forward to it!
So this looks good – I’ve been fortunate enough to try some really good Kimchi at the Korean BBQ places I’ve been in the last few months so this caught my eye.
So I think I reviewed this in maybe 2003, so it’s been a long time and I thought it might be time for another take on it. From the sheer amount of commercials I’ve come across on YouTube for this stuff, I think that this is Samyang’s premiere product in Korea; although I could be totally wrong…
So today’s a downtime today. My lady Kit’s not feeling well and we decided a couple days ago that we would chill and watch Star Trek movies and eat noodles together. That being said, I needed to find some kind of new noodle thing that she night like. Well, BBQ Pork flavor sounded pretty good to me and I thought she’d dig it too.
Hey it looks like the lady from the Dosirac pack! She looks kind of like a nurse. Well, let’s cook it up.
Again another flavor of Nissin Cup Noodles! Spicy Chile Chicken! Let’s see if this stuff packs any heat!
A little taller than most of the cup noodles I’ve seen, here we have MAMA Pork Flavour…
Some shrimp Vina Acecook – can’t wait to try this – I’ve been really enjoying their products recently.
Yeah okay I know… After 264 reviews I’m finally getting to the Nissin Chicken Cup Noodles. Let’s get to it.
So here’s something else from Vina Acecook – Hảo Hảo. Looks interesting – onward!
So here’s a new one. Let’s see how we fare…
Instructions under the plastic labeling…
Beef balls. Well, I really don’t think they mean rocky mountain oysters here. I think its soy protein.
Some hot & spicy up in here!
Clockwise from top left: powder soup base, veggies and shrimp, ‘soup booster.
Here’s some more of the Vina Acecook stuff me and my lovely Kit found at HT Oaktree market last week. Seafood flavor!
So here’s something new – Royal Umbrella. A cup noodle from Thailand – Tom Yum isn’t a surprise as far as the flavor.
So here’s another good ol standby – beef cup noodles.
Very easy instructions…
So we went to the grocery store and got a bunch of Cup Noodles – at only 25 cents a piece why not, and they haven’t been reviewed yet! So here’s shrimp.
So here’s something new – MAMA’s Oriental Kitchen… Let’s try…
So on our very recent trip to a new Asian grocery, we found a lot of products by Vina Acecook. So there will be a few reviews by them coming at you fast and furious! First off, some Tom Yum! One thing real quick though – notice on the top of the package label where it says ‘Made With Japanese Technology?’ Didn’t find really anything about the Japanese technology anywhere but did find this sitting in a lonely corner of the web:
10008 Aurora Ave N
Seattle, WA
So here’s a new place – we checked it out and found it to be very nice. Quite an array of products – got over 15 new ramens to rate – good prices!
At long last! Yesterday we found the elusive Nongshim Spicy Seafood Bowl Noodle Soup!!! Very awesome! There’s a review of the place we found it at under the Where to Get It tab up top – check out HT Oaktree Market! Now check out this review of Nongshim Spicy Seafood Bowl Noodle!
So let’s see if this is as good if not better than yesterday’s udon.
Again I am flummoxed; how do they tell the packets apart? This one is exactly the same as the beef packet.
The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
So something new – found this at a standard regular run of the mill grocery store. There were three varieties, so we got one of each, especially at 10/$10.
Swore I’d reviewed this before. Well, here’s one from Unif.
From left going clockwise, veggies, powder soup base and oily thick stuff.
Tomato ramen. There it is. Is it gong to taste tomato-like?
The veggies and the powder…
I’m not sure but this may be the last of the Myojo fresh udons! Ah well – they were a lot of fun! Hopefully there will be more flavors…
So thought I’d give it a whirl. This is one of the few I haven’t tried left at 99 Ranch Market! I see a problem coming on and I don’t like it!
Six Fortune stuff is usually pretty good but I haven’t seen a lot of it around. So let’s give it a try!
