Hai Ya! Yet another bowl of Ve Wong’s Kung-Fu line or instant oriental noodle soups! Today it’s artificial beef flavor. Dig it!

Here’s something from Ve Wong. I’ve been enjoying these bowls so far – pork sounds good! I did review some Baijia pickled radish and duck flavor earlier, but honestly I couldn’t eat the whole thing it was so nasty – I only ate perhaps a 1/4 of it… So yeah here’s this one.

Well lookie here! My wife and I were at H-Mart and she spied these on the lower shelf. We tried the ones in the blue packaging – the Oriental flavor – awhile back and those were quite delicious. Since these must be purchased in a five pack, I figured let’s give them a go – she should dig ’em!

Ippei-chan! Sounds awesome to me. I’ve been really stoked on Myojo’s products for a long time – well, excluding the duck flavor stuff of course – that stuff tasted horrid… So let’s have some soybean paste flavor noodles!

So you’re hungry, lazy, and you’re 12 years old or in a college dorm. Well, I’m sure most of you know the rest – you smash up a pack of Top Ramen and sprinkle the seasoning pack in, shake it and you’ve got some kind of funky potato chip bizarro-land thing. Well, in Korea they took that concept a step further and have products that are marketed to be enjoyed that way!

Here we have some noodles from Vietnam. I got these during the trip to California in Pleasanton. I’m figuring these won’t be too bad – in my time as a noodle reviewer, I must say that chicken flavor is pretty hard to screw up. So let’s see what we have here!

So here’s something new – Mr. Udon! These came from a Big Lots store north of here – was rather surprised to see it honestly. So let’s give ‘er a try!

I had another one of these that had ginger flavor with it – was pretty good! I think I got this one at the Seafood City in Tukwila on my birthday during the big noodle re-up of 2011.

Okay so I reviewed Samyang’s Kalgugsu a long time ago and it said it was assorted clam flavored noodle soup. This one just says its Korean noodle soup, however its got mussels, anchovy, bonito, shrimp tuna and mushroom going on too. I wouldn’t call it assorted clam flavor this time around – more like assorted flavor flavor.

I was very much on the fence as to whether I’d tried this one before, but as it turns out I haven’t. Looks like something tasty.

So here’s something good I’m sure! Haven’t ever seen this popular Korean beef ramen in a big bowl before – let’s try it!

Honestly instead of Big Bowl I think these should be marketed as Huge Bowl, but honestly this is about what you would get if you bought a pack of Nongshim Kimchi noodles in a pack, except you would get better quality noodles there. These noodles are built for fast inflating and absorbency.

Wow look at this one – all purple and yellow… Very different looking than anything I’ve seen yet. And the flavor – beef and sauerkraut? I wonder if it’s going to be any good? Well, let’s have at it!

So This one got reviewed at the studios of KIRO 97.3 FM yesterday – here’s a video of me making and trying it.

So here’s some Quickchow from the Philippines. Mami just means noodle soup as far as I know. I like the little ‘Buy Pinoy’ logo on the lower right!

So this is something different – E-Men noodles. The ingredients say they’re mad of wheat flour and soybean oil…

So my lady decided these looked good to her and woul dlike them for lunch today. They’re fresh ones from Taiwan – I’ll snag a bite and give em my opinion here.

So here’s the last (as far as I know) of the Shin Ramyun line from Nongshim. Shin Ramyun (pack), Shin Cup, Shin Bowl and Shin Big Bowl. Let’s give it a go.

This one’s been sitting in the bottom of the ramen box for quite a while now. Wondered how they would be – spicy? Salty? Nasty? Thready? Well, let’s open them and find out!

As promised, here’s another of Sapporo Ichiban’s cup line. Again, we see the cooked and ready product being inundated with more piping hot water. Weird picture…

So here’s something new from the fresh noodle section. Never heard of this brand before and looks interesting.

Some spicy beef this morning for breakfast. Really hoping its good stuff! I guess we’ll see.

A couple things to start out with here as this picture is somewhat ridiculous. So they’re adding water to the cup. The water is up to the line already and not only that, the contents appear to already be done cooking; the veggies are clearly re-hydrated. Kind of weird I thought.

So this is a big wide bowl of noodles. Don’t think I’ve had any Ve Wong like this before – hope its something good!

So here’s an interesting looking one. The noodles are made of mung bean! Bean thread! Let’s check out these noodles from Thailand!

It’s been sitting in my big ramen box for quite a while now and been contemplating trying this one as of late. Got an email this morning from someone who read the article in the Herald about this site and this stuff was mentioned, so I thought no time like the present. Lucky me!

So here’s something new by a name I’ve liked a lot in the past. I have always given high marks to Payless’ Pancit Canton varieties, but this is the first time with some Instant Mami. Mami? What is Mami?! Wikipedia says it is:

Here’s a cup noodle from Korea’s Ottogi. It says it only takes 2 minutes to cook. Usually, you’re looking at 3 minutes! Such efficiency!

So the other Vifon Asian Styleys have been great so far – so let’s see how this one fares. I like how their packaging for this line of products is nice and colorful.

This is a brand new one from Malaysia I found at 99 Ranch today. Looks like it’ll rock!

Hảo Hảo Hảo? I doubt whether John Lee Hooker enjoyed this stuff during his life, but let’s see if it’s any good.

Ah the fruits of the sea! I wonder if it’ll be a fishy spicy thing going on? I sure hope so…

So here’s perhaps the last or maybe next to last of the Paldo Bowl Noodle Soup line. These have been really good!

So today is the day of the supposed rapture, predicted by a fellow in Oakland, CA. He’s disappeared but The Ramen Rater hasn’t! So let’s check out these noodles from Korea!

So we went to the brand new Bellevue Washington Uwajimaya a couple days ago and wow – pretty awesome! Got some nice bowl noodles to try – here’s one!

Well this should be a tasty and tame one after the horror of the zero star review #386. So on we go with some beefiness!

So I’ve been doing these slowly because they’re so cool! Another my sis brought back from Canada. Tom Yam eh? Should be interesting!

So here’s some interesting stuff. It doesn’t say its any particular flavor other than ‘pho.’ Not beef or veggies or chicken. I’m going to guess beef. The picture looks kinda beefy.

The ‘Hot Of Hots’ eh? Sounds interesting! I hope its good as I really like satay…

Yep – here’s another of the Sau Tao’s. I’m just going to go through all of them in a row I think. This is Chicken and Abalone – kind of a new twist on ‘surf and turf’ eh? Anyways…
