Uber. Good stuff for sure. I’m going to spare the pleasantries and just say this stuff kicks some ass. On to the reality of the best stuff.

#221: Nissin Top Ramen Beef Flavor Ramen Noodle Soup
Yep – surprising isn’t it? When you see that I’ve reviewed well over 200 unique packs of instant noodles to think that I haven’t done beef flavored Top Ramen yet. So here we go!
#214: Maruchan Yakisoba Teriyaki Beef Flavor Home-Style Japanese Noodles
#209: Nissin Souper Meal Beef Flavor Minestrone with Premium Straight-Cut Noodles
It’s big, it’s burly, it’s insanity. I really think the USA is the only country that this is marketed to. Super size me ramen! 2960mg of sodium and 560 calories. But hey, that 14g of protein will help on the jog you take after eating this!
#205: Sapporo Ichiban Japanese Style Noodles & Beef Flavored Soup
So now that I’m out of the Nong Shim bowl noodles, here’s something new. This is going to be good – I haven’t had any complaints that I can think of about Sapporo Ichiban’s products.
#201: Nongshim Bowl Noodle Soup Beef & Ginger Flavor
Beef & Ginger? Sounds really good! Surprising that I haven’t stumbled upon more packs of instant noodles that have ginger as a main ingredient – it’s so tasty and all…
#177: Vifon Hu Tieu Bo Kho An Lien Beef flavour Oriental Style Instant Noodle
So another day and some more noodles my lady picked for me. This one’s Vietnamese and looks a lot like pho. At least on the package.
#164: Unif Tung-I Artificial Beef Flavor Ramen Noodles
I must admit I laugh a little when I see this brand – I like the bit of Norwegian on the front. Biff!!! Smak!!! Sounds like the old Batman TV show! Well, Let me whip out my Bat ramen pot and cook this stuff up.
#146: MAMA Pho Bo Oriental Style Instant Chand Noodles Beef Flavor
So I like Pho noodles I’ve gotten around here from the various little restaurants. Usually I get some variety of beef Pho. Let’s see how this stacks up to the real thing…
#142: Nissin Original Chow Mein Teriyaki Beef Flavor Chow Mein Noodles
So this is what you’ll find at your local grocery store in the United States. I picked this one up at a dollar store. Looked interesting so thought I’d give it a go. I’m always looking for the exotic and felt I was kind of missing the more domestic and such. How can I be a true Ramen Rater without trying the stuff from across the ocean as well as in my backyard?
#139: Kamfen Noodle King Beef Soup Flavored
So this is one of three packs of noodles I got that are actually two packs. This one was just over a dollar – thought it might be a good deal.
#132: Ve Wong Instant Oriental Noodle Soup (Mì Bò Hương Cay Khâu Vị) Artificial Peppered Beef Flavor
So again this morning asked Kit to choose which pack of noodles I should have. She told me to go ahead with the peppered beef. Sounds good to me!
#129: Nongshim Mupama Tang Myun Noodle Soup
Neat looking stuff with a funny name… Looked it up online and it mentioned beef and radishes… Hmm…
#120: Samyang Beef Flavor Ramen Noodle Soup
Beef. Not usually really an ‘out there’ or ‘exotic’ flavor. Seems like most Korean noodles are more along the lines of spicy or seafood. So I guess we’ll see how this one stacks up.
#533: Paldo Gomtang Oriental Style Noodles With Soup Base
Gomtang huh? Sounds like a Star Trek alien creature that’s been traveling possibly hundreds of thousands of years across space to find it’s final resting place in the vicinity of a star about to go nova. But I don’t think that’s what they’re going for here.
#100: Unif / Tung-I Artificial Chinese Beef Flavor Instant Rice Noodles
Been awhile since I’ve had rice noodles – let alone artificial Chinese beef flavored broth!
#95: Wei Lih Instant Noodles With Artificial Beef Flavored Soup Stock
So here’s the second Wei Lih product to enter my stomach through my facehole. Artificial beef flavored stock huh? Is that what you get when you boil an artificial Steer with flowers on its head?
#81: Unif / Tung-I Spicy Beef Flavor Noodles
So it was ‘Summer Exotica Days’ at 99 Ranch and had me, Kitten and Andy all together trying new stuff. Andy tried some furikake on rice, bean thread noodles, plum and green tea drink ad shrimp wontons. Kitten picked my ramen today – the picture of the cartoon cow did it for her.
#76: Indomie Rasa Baso Sapi Meatball Flavor Instant Noodles
So today I made Kitten some noodles for breakfast! This is some tasty stuff!
Seasoning powder, seasoned oil. That’s it. This is pretty surprising for an Indomie pack of noodles as there’s usually a ton of different packets. She didn’t want it too spicy so I kept the chili powder out of the mix.
#75: Indomie Mi Goreng Rendang Instant Noodles
Ah the glorious 99 Ranch Market. It takes about 40 minutes to walk there (at a very fast walk), pick out some noodles and then walk home.
#73: Nissin Demae Ramen Five Spices Artificial Beef Flavor Instant Noodles
I’ve been enjoying trying every flavor of Nissin Demae that 99 Ranch carries lately, so onward we go with the five spices artificial beef flavor.
#46: Indomie Jumbo Meat Ball
Indomie: Jumbo Meat Ball
Stars:***
Notes: Strangely enough, this did have a slight hamburger-like flavor to it. It’s best quality is that it’s a jumbo pack – can’t get enough of this stuff! Basically very much like the regular fried noodles. Get it here in the regular size.
#39: Lucky Me! Supreme Bulalo Flavor Bowl [Beef Marrow]
Lucky Me: Supreme Bulalo Flavor Bowl [Beef Marrow]
Stars: ***
Notes: This stuff was really decent – tasted like good beef broth and the noodles stood
firm and potent. What this bowl needed was perhaps a packet of dried onions
with it – would have probably earned it another star.
#19: Nongshim Shin Ramyun Noodle Soup
Nong Shim: Shin Ramyun
Stars: ***
Much better than the Neoguri but much the same.
This stuff’s pretty spicy and salty, and the noodles
are a bit better than Neoguri. Like Neoguri, they
are udon style and the noodles are in a condensed
round shape out of the package, easily dropped into
a small round pot. Get it here.
#18: Ottogi Jin Ramen Hot Taste Oriental Style Noodle
Ottogi: Jin Ramen – Hot Taste
Stars: ***
Notes:This is quite good – the noodles are pretty garden variety, but there’s a nice quantity of them. I made the noodles as per the instructions on the package, but I drained a good portion of the water off before putting them in my bowl, adding the hot flavor soup base and the veggies. I put a single fried egg on top and voila! A good, robust and filling bowl of ramen. Tasty stuff! Get it here.
#14: Samyang Hot
Samyang: Hot
Stars: *** 1/2
Notes: A pretty big, pretty good bowl of noodles. Make sure to cook it for extra long as it’s not good stuff, just not the best quality noodle. Dropped a couple eggs into it while cooking – came out awesome. 2 packets of seasoning, one vegetables and dehydrated meat, one just soup base.
#10: Smack Vegetable Beef Ramen Noodles
Smack: Vegetable Beef
Stars: * 1/2
Notes: Receiving the one and a half stars primarily because of its’ bold daring name,
‘Smack’ is still even in this form not my drug of choice. An American Union
Made noodle through and through. Says it only takes three minutes, but the
noodles were dense and very spiteful. The flavor was a standard, unoriginal
vegetable beef which you’d find in a can of soup. Would only recommend this
brand to those who would just use the noodle for frying with eggs, and still I don’t
think eggs require that much punishment.
#8: Tung-I Chinese Beef Flavor Instant Rice Noodles
Tung-I: Chinese Beef
Stars: ***
Notes: This was quite good – the base tasted like nothing I’ve tried before. Very much
like a Mongolian beef sauce – was really good.
