#4806: Nissin Cup Noodles Everything Bagel With Cream Cheese Ramen Noodles In Sauce - United States

Well, here we go again. This is the third in a series of interesting and very different varieties by Nissin Foods USA. First, the Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice – which people really had strong feelings about. Second was Cup Noodles Breakfast which was kind of like a McGriddle morphed into a Cup Noodles. Finally, (shouldn’t say finally and hope this isn’t the end of the road for these interesting flavors) is Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese Ramen Noodles In Sauce. This is an interesting flavor to me. A big thank you to my wife Kit for getting two of these for me, and also to Nissin Foods USA for sending me an interesting influencer box – very cool! Alright – let’s give this a try – I should note I put this in a bagel with cream cheese – see videos at the bottom of this post. ...see full post

Nissin Sends Cup Noodles Everything Bagel!

In the last couple of years, there have been some interesting changes of varieties coming from Nissin Foods USA – neat ones! The biggest are these limited edition varieties – first we got Pumpkin Spice, then Breakfast – now it’s Everything Bagel. I still have high hopes for a pizza in a cup but we will have to wait and see. I think it’s a logical next step. Maybe a cheeseburger one. What’s also cool are the media kits they send out. This one’s especially cool – it makes noise! Yup – watch the video and check it out! ...see full post

Revisiting Nissin Cup Noodles Breakfast – The Definitive Guide

Revisiting Nissin Cup Noodle Breakfast - The Definitive Guide

A couple years ago, Nissin Foods USA came out with something called Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice. Honestly, I really enjoyed it and made many different recipes out of it, stretching it to the limit. This time, it’s a breakfast variety. I couldn’t find it, but luckily Stumpy from North Little Rock, AR, James from Lakeside, CA and Nissin Foods sent me cups which I truly appreciate. Here, I will go into meticulous detail about the product, and create five different things with it. With that, here’s The Ramen Rater’s Definitive Guide To Nissin Cup Noodles Breakfast. ...see full post

#4689: Nissin Cup Noodles Big Wok Style Soba Chili – Germany

#4689: Nissin Cup Noodles Big Wok Style Soba Chili - Germany

So my sister is really into German stuff and when I review these, I save the plastic cups for her knick knack shelf. Just noticed this appears to have a Vegan logo on the lower right there. This morning, my wife is flying to the memorial service for her grandfather in California, so I’ve got a few days solo with the kids which will be nice but we’re already missing her. Her grandfather was quite a guy – I did a slideshow for them with music if you want to check it out. He was a 3 time purple heart recipient and was in WWII. He was a neat guy and will really be missed. Anyways, let’s cook up some yakisoba! ...see full post

#4566: Nissin BIG Cup Noodles Tom Yam Seafood Flavour – Singapore

#4566: Nissin BIG Cup Noodles Tom Yam Seafood Flavour - Singapore

Well, shoot. We come to the end of the BIG Cup Noodles from Singapore with this one, which saddens me. They were a lot of fun, but I wager they may have saved the best for last. They mentioned this one is very popular. I love tom yam – nice and spicy, seafoody, and full of lemongrass flavor. Let’s give it a try! ...see full post

Happy National Noodle Day 2022! Cup Noodles Bath Bomb!

Happy National Noodle Day 2022! Cup Noodles Bath Bomb!

October 6th is National Noodle Day! I knew it existed, but every year I find out when it’s too late to do a special post or something to commemorate the day. This year, Nissin Foods USA overnighted me a box especially for National Noodle Day – and it arrived the day before! So, I’ve spent the day before National Noodle Day shooting video, doing special research, and sitting in the bathroom. Well, it’s been fun, and now it’s time to show you what you may have or have not heard about – the Nissin Cup Noodles Soup Soaker. It’s a bath bomb which came in this special box in a noodle cup. What’s more is it’s kind of chickenny. Yeah. A chicken broth bath bomb. Watch it fizz!!! ...see full post

Pumpkin Spice Cup Noodles Ramen Pizza Party!

Pumpkin Spice Cup Noodles Ramen Pizza Party!

You knew it was bound to happen, and now it has. I spent so much time making different things with Nissin Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice Flavor – but I never made a pizza. Weird? Of course! Insane? Naw, not really. Since I always like to do a duo of pizzas, I also made one with Nissin Fire Wok Sizzlin’ Rich Pork – that’s my favorite of that range. Well, prepare yourselves – some fascinating waters are ahead. Sometime I’ll use lecithin or egg as an emulsifier and grind up noodles to make dough for pizza – that will be interesting. But not I think today. Here we go. ...see full post

#4153: Nissin Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice With Noodles Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Flavor – United States

#4153: Nissin Cup Noodles Rice With Noodles Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Flavor - United States

These I’ve been going through slowly – I think this one came by way of James from Lakeside CA, but it may have come from Nissin Foods USA – either way, thank you! Last time I messed with a Stir Fry cup I took 4 of the Korean BBQ flavor ones, pulverized them into powder, cooked them in the microwave, and added them to a pie crust to make a savory Christmas pie. Yeah I know – that’s weird. Well, let’s try this one without trying to make a dessert out of it, as fun as that might be… ...see full post

#4132: Nissin Cup Noodles Fish Head Curry Flavor – Singapore

#4235: Nissin Cup Noodles Fish Head Curry Flavor - Singapore

This is an interesting review. Usually, the reviews I post daily have been done months in advance. However today’s review was probably done the day prior. It’s Monday night right now, the kids are having dinner, the guinea pigs a weeping waiting for theirs. I’m writing this framework for review #4235. The thing is that this product was introduced in Singapore on April 4th and only made for 3 weeks, so they’re already running out. They sent me a special box with some samples and I posted the unboxing today. So I’m going to review it tomorrow (Tuesday), and release it on Wednesday. So that being said, I’ll have to switch the number of this review with the one that was going to come out on Wednesday. Should be fine. Since this is so limited edition, I just want people to see it while it makes sense for them to see it. Anyways, there you are. I hope it’s good! ...see full post

#4076: Nissin Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice With Noodles Thai Yellow Curry Flavor – United States

#4076: Nissin Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice With Noodles Thai Yellow Curry Flavor - United States

Big thanks to James from Lakeside, CA for sending this over! At first I was curious how they would go about doing this and then I opened the lid. Crushed noodles. I had a quick ‘a-ha’ moment and remember way back I reviewed good old #1506. 1506 was Nissin Mug – which was a variety from India and almost the same thing – instant noodles that are in rice sized lengths. This however has both the short crushed noodles AND rice. I’m very intrigued and curious about this. This right here is the kind of innovation and unique thing I have been talking about – and seeing something like this in the US market is a thrill, honestly. Let’s take a look and give this one a try! ...see full post

D8 THC Cup Noodles Professional Mukbang

D8 THC Cup Noodles Teardown & Mukbang

First off, thanks to The Fat Hipster for sending these over. Honestly, more like curses to you, sir! This really did me in. I read after doing this THC (the stuff that gets you high from smoking marijuana) infused noodle that a gunny has 20mg of THC and that’s a lot for a ‘seasoned marijuana user.’ This has 100mg and it’s been maybe 18 months since I had any. I live in Washington state, and I could just walk to the store and legally buy marijuana. Apparently this D8 stuff is also legal for now, as the D9 comes from cannabis and the D9 somes from hemp, and hemp is legal everywhere. Crazy. Anyways, let’s give this a try. Most of the pertinent info will be in the mukbang below. ...see full post

Nissin Sends New Products Including Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice – USA

In August, Nissin announced that they would be producing a pumpkin spice flavored Cup Noodles product. This is really quite daring; very different and out of the norm, but a risk worth the reward. Pumpkin spice is an extremely popular flavor, and even for those who abhor it, it gives them reason for tantrums. Such an emotional response to something like this is worth a lot. ‘You hear they made a pumpkin spice Cup Noodles?’ ‘What? That’s ridiculous!’ Then they tell someone who tells someone – that’s gold right there. As Momofuku Ando once said ‘when you hear what consumers are saying, you’re hearing the voice of God.’ ...see full post

Nissin Cup Noodles Bread #ramenbread #UseYourNoodleContest

Nissin Cup Noodles Bread #ramenbread #UseYourNoodleContest

I did say my last loaf of bread would be the last for a while, but then I saw that Nissin Foods was doing a contest (#USEYOURNOODLECONTEST) having to do with innovation for their 50th Anniversary of the introduction of Cup Noodles. I really like making bread from instant noodles; some of you might think I’m a little off my rocker, but it’s fun, completely different from what I’ve been doing, and it’s really neat to put a bunch of things together and have something come out nicely. Whether I win the contest or not (it would be nice to win), I’m happy with what I did here. Let’s check it out =- I used one noodle block and the seasoning from 10 Cup Noodles Chicken flavor! Let’s go! ...see full post

#3947: Nissin Cup Noodles Roasted Duck Sweet Onion Soup – Germany

#3924: Nissin Cup Noodles Roasted Duck Sweet Onion Soup - Germany

I believe this is the last of the German Cup Noodles I was sent from Germany – big thanks to Anna from Nissin DE for sending these along! We arrive at duck. I so wish I could just go to the deli and say ‘yeah, can I have 50 grams of duck?’ Here in the US, nobody sells duck. Only place you’re going to find it is hanging whole duck at Asian grocery stores.I will admit that when I visited Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan, I was treated to some of the finest food in the world – and some of my favorites featured duck. Duck is very popular in Southeast Asia. Wish it were here. Ah well. I dream of someday returning to where I feel I belong. Let’s give this a try! ...see full post

#3862: Nissin Cup Noodles Teriyaki Chicken – Germany

#3862: Nissin Cup Noodles Teriyaki Chicken - Germany

Well this one was sent by the nice folks in Germany for review! Sounds like a nice variety too. It’s nice when something smells good – I get these reviews ready while the kids eat their dinner in the evening right before they go to bed and then we have our dinner. The actual review will happen tomorrow after the kids have their lunch. Everything revolves around our children in our house, just as it probably goes in everyone else’s house. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Let’s give this one a try! ...see full post
