Here’s another from the bottom of the hamper! My sister Sue got this one for me on a trip to Canada earlier this year. Looks like this’ll be the last noodle to be reviewed in 2011! But these aren’t your ordinary looking noodles, are they? Instant macaroni! Let’s try it!

Here’s one that was at the bottom of the ramen hamper so needed immediate attention today. Curry is one of my favorite flavors! I hope this is good stuff!
For awhile now, I’ve known that having the site be The Ramen Rater and having the ‘the’ out of the domain name was a kind of bad idea, I thought I’d fix it by adding wwww.theramenrater.com. So you will be able to go to www.ramenrater.com or www.theramenrater.com. Like that? No? Yes? Well, okay then.
Made a trip to Seattle and hit up Uwajimaya and got a ton of new noodles – lots of Japanese bowls! Anyways, let’s start with this prawn tom yam…
So I finally got my copies of the big Sunday article in the Skagit Valley Herald (thanks to my sister Sue!) and now have scanned them to view here. Click on the images to see a readable image.

I remember reviewing this one a while back up in Anacortes – got it and was really stoked as I’d never seen it before!
The last noodles were so bad that I had to toss them. What a waste! Ah well, this should be good enough to eat!!!
Here’s one that we got at a northern Oregon Chevron of all places. Man, I’m still jonesin’ to try the Beef Taco and Jalapeno Cheddar flavors!!!

So today is my wife and I’s second anniversary. No, not a wedding anniversary – we got married in July. This is our two year ‘Click-I-Versary.” You see, we met on an online dating website! Two years ago today she clicked a button on my profile and let me know she liked me. I did the same. The chatted online for a little bit and then called and talked to each other for many hours – the rest is history! I can honestly say I’ve never been happier in my life. Love you, Kitten!
Hello fellow “Rameners” My name is Greg, and I am a Ramenholic. As a new contributor to RamenRater.com I thought it would be appropriate to use my first post to share how I prepare Ramen noodles.
Here’s yet another from Michelle L. of New York. I am really digging the “A” series so far!
This is one of the samples sent by Empire International – thanks again to them and Jim C.! Many years ago, I tried this stuff. This was the first Indomie product I’d ever tried! I used to get tons of this stuff – my folks would bring it back to Anacortes from Seattle , a bit of a journey for noodles! All the packets, the draining, the eggs… This is where it all begand for me.
Here’s another that was sent to me by Michelle L. of New York. This is something I’ve never had before – Wei-Wei brand. Wai Wai yes, Wei-Wei, no. The packaging is interesting – note the guy with the suave hat in the upper right. He’s there; on the scene – purchasing noodles . Let’s see if these noodles rock. Note the economical 49 cent price tag!
Hadn’t tried it before and at under $3.00 for the four pack, how could I resist?
Here’s the front of a single pack. I have had many of the other varieties of Koka before, but spicy black pepper just sounds so good!
Hi, I’m Eric, longtime fan and new RR contributor!
When I have soup I like adding lots of different ingredients to them. Powdered ginger, salt, chili powder, galangal powder, etc. But after a while all those bottles started piling up on the table and taking up so much room! So I found a solution to this problem: the multi-spice shaker!
Here we go with another Pot Noodle sent by Cindy C. of England. Beef and tomato eh? Well, I’m very curious as to how this one will fare.
Here’s another from Michelle L. of New York. I have liked pretty much everything I’ve had that Six Fortune makes – hopefully this is no exception. U-Dong is a thicker noodle and it mentions it’s got “udon flavour,” which I would imagine will be seafood.
Here’s another sent by Michelle L. of New York – thanks again! Send pics of where you put the stickers! This one looks interesting; on top as an afterthought is printed ‘ARTIFICIAL FLAVORED,’ although I do see dried onion in the ingredients. Weird. That said, here’s the noods.
This one came from Cindy C. of England! Thanks Cindy- if you have a picture of where you’ve stuck your stickers, send it along, please! This is the first of the low fat Super Noodles I’ll be trying – I think there’s one or two more.

We went and got makings for Korean BBQ at the store yesterday and I found this unreviewed cup so I figured let’s do two cups today. Here we go!
#601aq? What’s with the ‘a’ crap? Well, I was looking over the last few reviews. As it turns out, I reviewed the Nong Shim Ansungtangmyun eons ago… Instead of reshuffling everything, I decided to just have a do-over. So here’s review #601a. This is another from Michelle L. of New York – thanks!

Yep – another re-review! But this one’s very special – i haven’t had this in a few years and I hope after reading and seeing, this stuff you’ll be ready and even dying to try it. This, my friend, is one of the finest instant noodle varieties I’ve ever had. Thanks to Jim C. for contacting Empire International, distributor of these and sending samples!

Got an email a week or so ago from Michelle L., a fan of the blog. She asked if I wanted to try some varieties she could get in the New York area – you know it!
Here’s the first re-review of one of the samples sent by Empire International thanks to Jim C.! This sounded really good after work!
A fellow named Jim C. from Canyon Country, CA dropped me a line a short time ago asking if I was interested in some Indomie stuff. Of course I replied in the affirmative!
What’s with all the re-reviews you ask? Well, I’m stalled at review #599 as I’m awaiting the opportunity to review an pack of instant noodles that is pretty generic but has been overlooked. I should have it in my clutches VERY shortly. Decided for this one – beefy and sweet and spicy and I remember…
I’ve seen a few articles as of late about people burning themselves because they tip over cups of instant noodles. This is ridiculous. These articles start citing that the design of these cup is flawed. Also, it is mentioned that many of the victims are children! I think anyone saying “here little tyke, be careful, it’s hot” ought to have their heads examined. . If you don’t know how to correctly operate and consume a cup noodle, I will herein inform you as to how.
Here’s another one that Nick from OrderRamen.com sent along. Curry’s very high on my favorite spices list – let’s see how this one does today. I decided I wanted it to be a little stronger than normal, so I omitted 1/4 cup of water.
Nick at OrderRamen.com was kind enough to send a couple of these along. These are my wife’s favorite – very basic and simple noodles which are tasty and satisfying. I think you could probably ordr them from OrderRamen.com if you send him an email – they’re worth it!
Pancit Canton! Ahhh this stuff is so good! It’s a lot like Mi Goreng but a little sweeter. Anyways, Let’s give their extra hot chili flavor a try!

So I saw an i-Report article on CNN about ramen noodles and it mentioned they wanted people to write about their experiences with noodles from restaurant style to instant.
