#4281: Wu-Mu Mandashi Sesame Paste Flavor Noodle - Taiwan

The last one of these I tried was quite good. This one is a sesame paste flavor. Many would liken it to peanut butter, but it’s a bit different usually. It’s really a nice way to liven up dry noodles, that’s for sure. I’ve had it cold on the streets of Taipei – and it was really delicious. I have to say, visiting Taiwan has been a highlight of my days on Earth. It’s a vibrant place full of new things to try. Yeah – don’t be a square – visit the beautiful island of Taiwan. ...see full post

Today, something I found at the local 99 Ranch Market from Taiwan. If you watch the episode of Instant Noodle Recipe Time at the bottom, you can watch me cook it up, as well as hear my thoughts on an upcoming ban on flavors of vape in Washington State with a lovely message for the Governor, Jay Inslee! This bears nothing ill towards Wu-Mu of course, so apologies for this one being the review that got the cursing, but it was something I had to do. Wu-Mu’s stuff is top-notch! Let’s check it out! ...see full post

#3109: Wu-Mu Jing Xiang Ban Mian Ramen Soup - Chili Beef Flavor - Taiwan

Today, we’ve got a nice one from Taiwan’s Wu-Mu. This is a newer variety that uses wide gauge noodles for a soup – something I find really interesting and not done nearly enough. Although these noodles are absolutely excellent in a dry noodle (without broth) setting, I think in soup they really excel too. Let’s see how these end up! ...see full post

Meet The Manufacturer: #2860: Wu-Mu Jing Xiang Ban Mian Ramen With BBQ Sauce

Next up is a BBQ flavor noodle – here’s what Wu-Mu has to say about these –

The middle of wavy noodles are thick, while the both sides are thin, that is why the sauce is more easily stuck in the noodle itself, creating different layers of the tastes!
The sauce is made of 100% pure sesame oil, soy sauce and Mirin, simmer until the Cantonese BBQ sauce is cooked. Sweetness and light spiciness blending harmoniously in the mouth, the BBQ sauce is finger-licking. ...see full post

#1440: Wu-Mu Dried Noodle With Beef Flavor Sauce

I’ve reviewed quite a few instant by this brand. They’re made in Taiwan and they come with four of everything; four noodle blocks, four of each sachet. The Interesting twist with this one is that it doesn’t use broth; it’s a stir noodle! I don’t think I’ve found one of those yet. Let’s check it out! ...see full post
