Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! These boxes are discontinued, however you can find their stuff at MiauMall – here is what they said about this one – “This mini-cup is a gift straight from Kyoto! This ramen cup comes from Tenkaippin, a popular ramen chain from Kyoto! It features tasty noodles in a deliciously thick chicken shoyu broth with tons of flavor and hint of garlic. Here’s another of the new size/package Prima Taste LaMian series. This stuff is serious business. I’m hoping we don’t lose power as a massive storm rolls in. There’s been talk of the possibility of tornadoes! I live about an hour’s walk from the Seattle city limits, so that’s rather bizarre. Let’s cook this up as we get excited for a lots of thunderstorms to watch tonight.

When I got the big Nissin Deutschland Advent Calendar, I figured I’d reviewed most things, but that was not the case to my chagrin. Lots of Demae Ramen in there with new packaging as well as new flavors! Let’s do spicy first!
We’re getting to the end of these Singaporre collabs – here’s the bowl version of their salted egg mala, which I previously tried in pack form. Let’s give it a try!
Well, I’m back. What do I mean by that? As I type this, it’s January 2nd. I was actually planning on reviewing it today, however the kids still aren’t back in school yet and at an age where they, well, to coin a phrase of my mother’s, have ‘diarrhea of the mouth.’ They’re noisy and won’t shush at all. The last review I did wasDecemberr 19th and this will get done January 6th. Quite a break for me. Well, let’s get it read then give it a try.

Recently, I met the folks at Project Ramen and they’re pretty great. They’ve got a lot of different boxes and they sent the big one – 16 packs, 8 varieties. Some of them I’ve not reviewed. There’s definitely something for everyone and then some – and they’re from around the world, not just one country. The other day I tried the pack version and here’s the bowl. The pack version mentioned it was a gravy version – this one says dry on it. Let’s give it a try.
This is the last of the multipacks – I’m really making progress through all these Nissin Singapore products! Soon, the monster box will be gone and I’ll have room. Not to say I don’t like what’s in the box as I very much do. I’m curious about this one – it’s salted egg again, but instead of pepper spicy, I’m guessing it’s Sichuan peppercorn spicy. Let’s see if it works!
The regular tonkotsu I reviewed recently was spectacular – I’m really hoping this one is even better. But you never know – so I review.
The saga of the huge box from Singapore continues! Until I saw these, I’d never heard of Pepper Lunch, which is a restaurant chain. But indeed, there are locations here as well as in Singapore and probably elsewhere as well. Let’s try this cheese curry – high hopes as I love curry. I’m eating curry for dinner – I make it all the time.

You might have noticed a different background on the pics lately. So there’s a company that does flooring called Flooret and they had a thing in facebook offering to send free samples. Well, I got some and that’s what these are. I’m going to get a big piece and get it cut which is darker than this one I’ve been using. It’s pretty neat stuff and I’m pretty stoked. Let’s continue on though – this is a chilli crab pack from Singapore – one of the signature dishes of the country. Let’s give it a try!

I got an enormous box of new samples from Nissin Foods Singapore – and it’s taking over my living room! I like salted egg and I believe Irwin’s maked some chips/crisps with salted egg flavor – a pretty apt pairing here, Let’s give it a go!
My daughter had her birthday party yesterday at Chuck E Cheese. A nice part of that is therre’s an Indian grocery next door called Apna Bazarr – found this after the party. Let’s give it a try!
Wow – it feels like I’ve not done a review in a while. Turns out it’s been ten days. Anyways, I’ve got a ton of noodles in those ten days and they’re encroaching on my living space, so I’m back at it! First off will be this one! Let’s go!

Herre’s a Prince Katsu variety made in Vietnam for the US market, emblazoned with a Hello Kitty. Note – despite Hello Kitty being depicted inside the cup, it is not in there.

Well kids, here we are. It’s kind of funny; I’ve had many a pizza flavored instant noodle – from places like Pakistan, Serbia, Brazil, and Indonesia to name a few. Nothing from the United States though. All these others employed a standard fried wheat noodle and were indeed the ‘standard’ instant ramen style noodle. In this one for the US, the term ‘ramen’ is doing some incredibly heavy lifting. I feel partially to blame to be honest – I’m The Ramen Rater – but I do not only review Japanese varieties like shio, tonkotsu, miso and shoyu, but try everything from everywhere. So, is this something that is called ramen, or is it ramen? You be the judge. Rather, I will after I sample it. Let’s begin.

This should be interesting! This is like a yakiudon that’s microwavable – sounds kinda neat! Let’s just cook it up!

My 5000th review was of the chicken version from this brand. Why? It was a brand I’d not seen, I got it locally, and when I found it I was surprised to find it as well and excited. I saw a post in the Ramen Junkies group showing this beef version, and I could tell from the shelf picture it was from the same place – a discount store called Dollar Tree. So, I thought I’d look to see if they have it and they did. What I find interesting is that I thought these were made in China – they’re not. These are made in India, and a sirloin flavor, which connotes beef seems very out of character. Once again, I review another McTrader product. Let us begin.
Dragon fruit? Yeah – dragon fruit. These came by way of James of Lakeside, Californias – thanks again! What an interesting this. I tried the spicy seafood version awhile back and they were pretty darn good. Let’s try these out.
Here’s my next to last of these varieties and I have to say I’ve enjoyed them so far. Nice chewy noodles, good Taiwanese style flavors. These are made for Momofuku, a restaurant founded by David Chang. A-Sha Dry Noodle is making these, so if you like their products, you’ll like these. Let’s cook it up!
