Here’s a Vegan variety that was sent by James from Lakeside, CA – thanks again! So these are very thin dry noodles from Taiwan. Usually they’ve been hit or miss, but we shall see. The sick continues. At some point soon, we’ll know if we have the COVID or not. Let’s give these a try.
MIT Ginger & Sesame Oil Noodles – Taiwan
Detail of the outer packaging (click to enlarge). Says Vegan friendly but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle block for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An individual serving.
The noodle block.
A dark sachet – soy sauce, perhaps.
A seasoned oil sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried egg, sesame seeds, chashu, spring onion, and crushed red pepper. These came out great! Noodles are thin and have a nice chew to them. The balance of ginger and sesame leans towards the ginger and I like that. Aromatic and tasty. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4713809934402.
