#2942: Paldo Teumsae Cheddar Cheese Ramyun
One of my favorite varieties has been Paldo’s Cheese Noodle – that’s a really tasty one. Well, Teumsae is one of their spiciest varieties and they mashed it up with cheese. I really want to get samples of the new ultra spicy Teumsae variety, but I can’t find it anywhere from nobody… At this point, I’m wondering if it even was produced! But it had to be… Come on. It’s hanging out somewhere! Anyways, cheese is good. It’s time to do a mukbang, so check out the video at the bottom of this review.. Let’s give this one a try!

Alrighty so these were sent by the Butlers of Illinois – thank you dso much! Looking at all the references to Maggi on this package, I’m guessing this is going to be about the same as Maggi Curry – a variety popular around the world. Oddly and to the surprise of many, these really isn’t a Maggi Curry you can get in the store here in the USA in regular stores – in fact you really don’t see many Maggi branded products here in the states. Let’s give this one a try!
#2935: Wei Lih Handmade Noodle Chicken Flavor
This is one I found at RT-Mart in Taipei, Taiwan. That place was so amazing – I mean, that was the biggest instant noodle aisle I’ve seen in my life – it was epic and beautiful. If I could, I’d go there right now a do a strange dance. Anyways, let’s crack this one open and have a look inside!
#2934: Samyang Foods Big Bowl Seafood Flavor
Samyang Foods just came out with three varieties of these large bowls. Seafood, chicken and lobster. They definitely look to be export varieties – the nutrition panels are in English and French, which might mean they’re more tailored for Canada. Anyways, I’m curious about these – let’s have a look!

Time for another one of these self heating/self cooking hot pots from China. I’ve found so far that the draw of these for me seems to be more of novelty than an thorough enjoyment of the innards of these. But hey – all it’s been up til now is mala – now we’ve got sour turnip duck vermicelli! Let’s check it out!

#2899: Nissin Chikin Ramen Rice
Found this one up at Osaka market at Yaohan Centre in Richmond, B C. I’ve always been a fan of Chikin ramen – it quite literally was the second instant noodle I tried as a kid. I’ve never had it like this, though! So this is an instant rice, but it has chikin ramen flavor. Let’s take a look at this crossover.

Here’s one sent by the Butlers of Illinois! Thank you again! They got this and many more for me during a trip they took to Illinois! This is actually made in Italy. Yep – Italian yakisoba! I’ve long known of this brand’s existence, and now it’s time to give it a try – let’s do it!
#2897: Big Bon Spice Mix Hot & Spicy
This one came by way of the halalfoodblog.com – thank you! I’ve followed them for a while on Instagram and they’ve done posts about noodles before. They were in Uzbekistan visiting and showed some noodles in a shop – and I commented and they offered to send me some – and here is one of them! Very nice of them. So after a little research I’m finding that these are made in Russia – at least I’m 99% sure. This is the first Russian variety I’ve reviewed! Let’s check it out!
#2895: Fox D.J. Korean Tteokbokki Spicy Snack
Found this one up at China World in Richmond, BC. This one’s confusing as it seems to say it’s a rice cake snack, however it has flour. It doesn’t say whether it’s rice flour or wheat flour. Anyways, I thought this was relevant since it was next to ramen snacks. Let’s take a look!

Here’s one I picked up while waiting to go to Din Tai Fung at the Taipei 101 – this was at the Jason’s Market there. First off, it’s curry – a flavor I always gravitate towards. Second, the graphics on this one just kind of dragged me to it. Never seen this brand or anything before so I guess the only thing to do now is crack it open and give it a try!

Here’s one that’s new to me – my ramen. my ramen is a range of Japanese instant ramen that are Vegan, HALAL, animal free, dairy free, shellfish free, fish free, alcohol free, and dairy free. That’s a lot of bases covered. I was very happy to say that the miso variety they produce is very good – and now we try the Salt variety. These are made in Taiwan by Chering Chang- I had a little trouble figuring out what the brand was/what they’re called, but on a bar code search I found them on a Vegan website, so I’m guessing they may be Vegan friendly. Anyways, let’s take a look and give these a try!

For those of your that don’t know, dry noodles basically are noodles with a sauce – dry meaning that they do not include a broth. They’re also not fried but either air or sun dried. They’re gaining popularity – let’s have a look at this mainstream Taiwanese brand’s take on a standard dry noodle variety.
