Here’s what they had to say about it – ‘Here we selected a nostalgic ramen cup based on a recipe from the Showa era. The Shōwa era (昭和, Shōwa) was the period of Japanese history corresponding to the reign of Emperor Shōwa (Hirohito) from December 25, 1926, until his death on January 7, 1989. The savory flavor of burnt (Kogashi, 焦がし) soy sauce is a distinctive feature of this ramen. The soup has the aromas of chicken stock and savory vegetables. The Japanese 70s to 80s are a period of industrial revolution, but also culinary, and recipes were reinvented during that time The cup is filled with a series of classic and colorful toppings, which makes it a lovely and well-balanced cup. Enjoy this little time capsule to start a new year with some unique experience.’
