Crap, man – you sure do know how to pick ’em. First off, I’ve never seen nor heard of this one and second, it sounds amazing. Let’s give it a try!
Seven&i Premium/Myojo Ryu Shanghai Spicy Miso Ramen – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork, chicken, and fish. To prepare, Boil 440 ml of water open lid halfway and add in orange sachet contents. Fill to line and cover – adding green and brown wet sachets on top to warm. Let steep 5 minutes. Add green sachet and stir. Finally, add brown and light blue sachets and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, sesame seed, spring onion, and mung bean sprouts. This was a colossal bowl, worthy of song and tribute. The noodle is absolutely goregeous – perfect gauge and chew and hydrated to a T. The broth, when augmented with a little stir of that reddish blob in the middle, becomes nice and spicy and gives incalculable benefit to the base red miso broth. The little sachet f seaweed gives everything another layer of flavor. This is pretty epic stuff – the narutomaki and chashu were on point, and menma is ubiquitous. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
