Mom’s Dry Noodle Mapo Century Egg With Meat Sauce – Taiwan

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains pork. To prepare, boil noodle for 3~5 minutes. Boil sachet for 2~3 minutes. Drain noodle and add sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried egg, scallion, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. Really impressed – as always, the thinner gauge dry noodle is perfection. Flavor is a savory and Sichuan pepper spicy one – and it’s not too much or too little of any element. The bits of pork settle in to provide a balance altogether genius. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
