Fancy new packaging going on here. Mapo century egg with meat paste sounds really quite exquisite – this sounds great – I’m on it!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains pork. To prepare, boil noodle for 3~5 minutes. Boil sachet for 2~3 minutes. Drain noodle and add sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added fried egg, scallion, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. Really impressed – as always, the thinner gauge dry noodle is perfection. Flavor is a savory and Sichuan pepper spicy one – and it’s not too much or too little of any element.
