#4209: Kings Noodle Hot & Sour - China

The last Kings Noodle variety I tried was absolutely phenomenal, so I’ve got high hopes for this one. This is a single serving variety with a whole lot going on in the box – let’s check it out!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles for 2 1/2 minutes. Drain, and save 100ml liquid. Add in everything. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Here are the noodles.

A large sachet…

…with two smaller sachets inside.

Another sachet…

Some solid bits in this one…

Another liquid sachet…

Some pickled vegetables.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sliced chashu, spring onion, and sesame seed. Noodle was mushy – perhaps I prepared it wrong, but I don’t think so. The saucy broth was incredibly horrible. Such a strong sourness that I just couldn’t palate it whatsoever. I think many folks in China would find it quite good, but my tastebuds just have to say no. Disappointing as the last in the series of these I tried was so wonderful. 0.0 out  EAN bar code 6970628920049.
