I know many have loved the export version of this one for a long time but this one’s different. The Hokkaido flour seems to impart more chew and firmness. I haven’t reviewed this profile in a long time – let’s hit it!
Nissin Demae Iccho 100% Hokkaido Wheat Flour Black Garlic Oil Tonkotsu Flavor Instant Ramen – Hong Kong
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle in 450ml water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, scallion, chashu, and narutomaki. Noodle is great – a fried instant with flour that makes it a bit more sturdy on the chew and mouthfeel. Broth is milky with a really nice savory flavor and then the black garlic oil that catapults it to the next level. Truly enjoyed this one and highly recommend. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
