Herre’s one from James of Lakeside California – thanks! This appears to be one of the first new varieties from Indomie to be sold in the US – in at least 15? 20 years? More? All I’ve seen during my tenure as The Ramen Rater arre Indomie varieties being plucked from the lineup herre – rendang, special curly noodle, others like skipjack tuna… This is a new one here! Let’s give it a try.
Indomie Korean Ramyeon Spicy Mushroom Flavour – Indonesia

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains crustaceans. To prepare, boil noodle and veg for 3 minutes in 400ml water. Add in remaining sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!

An instant noodle block.

A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.

A sachet of vegetables.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, dumplings, basil, scallion, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. Noodle is very thick – and chewy. Almost like it wasn’t done enough, but it worked. Broth had savory and veryr spicy attributes as well as a little sweetness. Included veg was prevalent. It didn’t seem crazy mushroomy though. Altogether it was interestiing and pretty enjoyable. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8994963004101.
