Oh boy so this should be good – thicker and stronger sauce in this one and it’s traditional Worcestershire style. I think it’s packing Karashi Mayo which is akin to heaven. Let’s find out.
Myojo Ippei-chan Rich & Sweet Thick Yakisoba – Japan
Detail of the underside (click to enlarge). Contains pork. To prepare, take out sachets. Add boiling water to line for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
The noodle block.
Some little bits in the tray.
A pretty sizable sachet of yakisoba sauce.
Shichimi.
Mustard mayo wonderment.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, sesame seeds, barbecued pork, and fried egg. I must say I definitely like the thicker gauge noodles – they work very well in this. The sauce has a definitely sweeter tone that traditional yakisoba, although it works in that realm and does it well. Top top it off, the inclusion of the mustard-mayo is just sensational. I could eat this all day long. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902881437233.
