#590: MAMA Instant Chand Clear Soup Bowl

Needed something fast to eat before we went to do our Black Friday errands. No, we didn’t get up at 4am or anything; we need to get an oil change and woke up at noon. So here’s some instant MAMA.

So from left to right: vegetables, dry seasoning, chili powder and finally a seasoned oil sachet.

Here’s a collage of panel info (click image to enlarge).

Everything ready for the boiling water.

Click image to enlarge. Here it is, finished. The noodles were the rice variety and thin but broad – I like them that way, although these were a little mushier than I like. The broth was tasty; maybe chicken-like? The veggies were great – crunchy and abundant. Giving this one 3.5 out of 5.0 stars.

Huh?

MAMA Noodles Pizzeria – I don’t think this is the sameness.

  1. The “Chand” is a bit weird here. I’m assuming its from เส้นจันท์ or Chant noodles, which is a type of flat noodle from Chantaburi, a province of Thailand.

  2. Ooh! I love this bowl! I cant believe you didnt mention its spicyness!! I love those noodles..they are the same noodles as the pho bowls. This was real good but I remember getting sick from the spicyness.. for a “clear soup” it certainly had lots of flavor!
