Topokki is a favorite of mine and topokki with noodle is usually rapokki, however this is with rice noodles. Would it be ripokki? Or wait, they might be sweet potato thread so is it swipokki? I dunno – it’s with noodle. Excited to try, let us begin.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add everything in a room temp to fill line. Set lid on top loosely and microwave 4 minutes at 1000W. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, ground beef, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. Noodle is thin and glassy. It adds a little different texture to the dish alongside the tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was pretty good – soft and chewy. The sauce was a real surprise – very hearty and beefy with a touch of heat – perfect.
