Hit a couple Asian markets last weekend and found this and its non-spicy counterpart. I’ve been trying to get my hands on everything in this new Otoki range. Not a super fan of the new labeling; I really liked the standard yellow style. But who knows this might be a bit of a recipe change. Let’s give it a try on this rainy day.
Otoki Cheesy Ramen Spicy Noodle Soup – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with room temp water and soup base. Microwave 4.5 minutes at 1000W. Add in cheese powder base. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, ground beef, scallion, sesame seed, and pepper thread. Noodle is thinner than expected, hydrated very well. The broth is a nicely spicy and standard style ramyun broth with a large amount of cheese powder. Honestly, it’s really, really good. I’m impressed with this one – I would go as far to say that I would enjoy this recreationally on the reg. I’m very curious about the pack versions of these now. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
