Time for something spicy from South Korea for the US market. Definitely a clone but I must say I’ve been rather impressed with the Harim varieties I’ve tried recently. Found this at Boo Han Market on 99 in Edmonds. Let’s cook!
Harim Bul Sauce Stir-fried Ramen – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 5 minutes in 600ml water. Drain saving 8 spoons water (8*15ml=120ml = about a half cup). Add in sachet contents and water and stir fry 30 seconds. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, pepper thread, and sesame seed. The noodle is spectacular – super thick and just the right chew – bravo. The flavor is very good too. While it’s not the most spicy out of the ultra spicy world, it’s definitely spicy. The flavor is very savory – and guess what? No bitterness.
