Okay so you know mi goreng, right? Well, this is mi goreng with a noodle made from corn. Yep – corn. What’s great about it is that it’s low cal and gluten free. Unlike rice vermicelli, its not dry, and unlike bean thread, it’s not extremely sloppy. This is the perfect balance. Let’s give it a go.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, spring onion, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. Noodle is just great – thin gauge – and it’s NOT DRY! It’s really a refreshing change from rice vermicelli I definitely like. Flavor is sweet and savory – not spicy, however they do make a spicy version I’ll be reviewing very soon. Truly enjoyed it and looking forward to trying the other variety. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8991688891368.
