I’ve reviewed this before, however they have new packaging on this one and I can’t resist – spicy Kumamoto tonkotsu is truly magnificent stuff. Let’s do it!
Itsuki Kumamoto Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen – Japan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Says it is meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 500ml water for 3 minutes. Add powder base and stir. Add liquid base. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added naruttomaki, egg, chashu, shichimi, sesame seed, mung bean sprouts, and spring onion. Noodle has a nice gauge a subtle brittleness. The broth is a creamy tonkotsu with rich flavor and spicy notes – not very spicy honestly, but in such a way that compliments it’s savoriness. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4901726015308.
