Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! Inside, they have 8-10 different varieties from Japan! If you’d like to get one, don’t forget to use the coupon code THERAMENRATER for a discount! Let’s see what they had to say about this one – “We love yakisoba, and while it can be found all over Japan, one of our noodle staff has fond memories of eating this by the ocean at summer festivals. This yakisoba features a traditional yakisoba sauce with tons of flavor and tasty chicken soup to enjoy on the side!”
I really love yakisoba – this one is new to me – I’ve never seen this one that comes with a soup on the side. Let’s give it a go!

A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed chicken, sesame seed, fried egg, mayonnaise, and scallion. Noodle is good – thin gauge, not spongy at all. Yakisoba ‘sauce’ powder coated well and imparted the traditional tamarind-heavy flavor along with great umami. The little cup of sipping soup? A chicken flavored broth which was very salty. An excellent yakisoba. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902105255797.
