#4565: Dajia Jiaxu Stirred Noodles – Taiwan

This is one that was sent to me by Daniel over at Exotic Noods – thanks! I really like this one and I haven’t tried it yet. Why? I’ve never had anything by this brand. It’s made in Taichung – a place I visited in 2016 – and I visited a slew of noodle factories there. Let’s check it out!

Dajia Jiaxu Stirred Noodles – Taiwan

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Guessing it’s meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle 4~5 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Air dried noodle.

A sauce sachet.

A sachet of soy sauce.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, sesame seed, crushed red pepper, pork, and soft egg. The noodle is a thinner gauge and has a very nice tooth to it. The sauce and soy work really quite nicely. The spiciness is on the lighter side, and the soy has a nice umami of it. All around, quite nice. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.  No bar code.
