#4253: Mingzhu Konjac Spicy & Sour Noodles - China

I’m unsure where this one came from, but I’m going to make a guess that it came from an Exotic Noods subscription box. Ya should head over there and use the coupon code THERAMENRATER – he’s got some great subscription boxes and they represent many countries around the world – very much worth a look.

This one sort of looks like a variety from a different brand, but that one happens to be red all over with some cartoon lady on it. Definitely haven’t tried this one. So, let’s give it a go.

Mingzhu Konjac Spicy & Sour Noodles – China

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in all of the sachets. Fill to line and cover for 6 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

A sachet of konjac noodle.

A sachet of dry soup base.

A spicy liquid sachet.

Possibly black vinegar.

A sachet of vegetables and seeds.

Looks like a sachet of peanuts.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sesame seed, mung bean sprouts, spring onion, and Fresno pepper. Noodles are very rubbery as is the way of konjac. It’s like a tangle of rubber bands. Broth is thick and oily with a peppery and sour taste. Low calorie, and low enjoyment. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 6957985112744.
