You know, I’ve had the pack version of it and I recall I did enjoy it, so hey – why not the bowl? I found this over at the local 99 Ranch Market and though wow I haven’t done the bowl – let’s do it! So, here I am, doing it as it were.
My wife got me a kitchen torch for Christmas too and I’m in need of butane at the moment, but I’m thinking it’ll be nice for doing up chashu with a little flair, so you’ll get to see that soon.
Let’s give this pork bone broth variety a try.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added soft boiled egg, chili oil, Lao Gan Ma spicy chili crisp, sesame seed, spring onion, and fried chashu pork. The noodles were alright I suppose. The broth had a stewed pork kind of taste to it which was only so-so. Just not all that impressed and hoped for much more. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6935270642091.
