They had this to say about it – ‘Another twin cup! Themed around the classic Crayon Shin-chan anime, this ramen comes with a cover illustrated by a new artist, Hiroshi Nohara. The noodles are seasoned appropriately and go well with the soup. Ready in just 3 minutes, it’s perfect if you are in a rush and don’t have time to prepare a full lunch. To make the taste quite unique, the miso soup, based on pork and chicken, uses 3 types of miso on top of the flavor of vegetables. It comes with a secret touch: a sprinkle of curry power. It’s what makes these noodles addictive. As for the toppings, some sprouts with a crispy texture, carrots with nice orange color, corn, and green onions are added to wrap up the dish. Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, chashu, mung bean sprouts, spring onion, sesame seeds, and narutomaki. Noodles were pretty good – nothing to write home about. The broth was quite good – a miso with a bump of curry. As for the ‘addictive bean sprouts,’ they were crisp, yet not exceptional. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901701247256.
