Back in the stores due to popular demand, the long-awaited revival of that popular Tokyo-origin menu! “Myojo Charmera” has been around for a long time. The first one was released in 1966 and made it to fame through the taste and spice of scallops. The “Myojo Charmera Oil Soba Cup ” released in June 2018 and April 2019 were so successful that fans kept requesting more, and they brought it back!
This new edition of Tokyo style abura soba from Myojo Charmera is an abura soba with scallop flavor and comes with the spicy soy sauce that is typical of Charmera. The noodles are on the thicker side, subtle and easy to eat with the savory sauce. Made from a combination of scallop and soy sauce, which is characterized by the flavor of beef and sesame oil, the sauce is the highlight of this cup of noodles. As a topping, you’ll find a combination of Menma, Naruto, and diagonally cut green onions.’

Myojo Tokyo Charmera Abura Soba – Japan
Detail from the outer wraps (click to enlarge). Contains pork, chicken, and beef. To prepare, add in dry sachet and boiling water to fill line. Cover 3 minutes. Drain. andd in liquid base sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, mung bean sprouts, spring onion, and sesame seed. Noodles came out pretty well – a little thicker and chewier. The flavor however was kind of uninteresting and didn’t seem altogether wonderful. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902881451604.
