Saw there was some neat new things going on over at Myojo USA so I contacted my friend Taku-san and he sent some great fresh varieties! I’ve had a ton of different yakisoba varieties but never have I seen a miso flavored one. Let’s give it a try!
Myojo Yakisoba Savory Miso Sauce – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Says it’s Vegetarian friendly on the packaging but check for yourself. To prepare, add 2 tsp oil to a pan and add meat and/or vegetables. After they’re cooked, add in the noodles and stir fry for 30 seconds. Then add 60ml water and continue to stir fry for 2~3 minutes until the water evaporates. If they stick, add a little more oil. Lower the heat and add in the seasoning. Stir fry 30 more seconds. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Two servings of thick noodles.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, mung bean sprouts, sesame seed, and mayonnaise. Noodles are indeed a little thicker and have a very good chew. They cradle the miso sauce which is indeed savory as advertised. It has a kind of miso and sweet flavor which worked very well. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 011152234281.
