Here’s another variety MyKuali has ‘tweaked’ the recipe for. This is a standard practice in Malaysia and Penang in particular. Recipes get changed an awful lot in hopes of making them the best they can possibly be. Let’s try out this Top Ten Lister of years past!
MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle (New Formulation) – Malaysia
Detail of an import sticker (click to enlarge).
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains shrimp. To prepare, boil noodle block in 350ml boiling water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An individual pack from the multipack.
The noodle block.
A sachet of paste.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, tofu puff, coriander, fish ball, sesame seed, and pepper flake. This one’s really been quite a shift in flavor. The noodle is astrong – good chew and tooth as always. The broth has departed from the original flavor. This has a strong taste of cumin and other spices, however the extra spicy nature it once had had shifted from the sharp to a mellower, more savory one- one that I like very much. This is an amazing change and one I really liked! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9555655005197.
