I was told this one’s their most popular product! I’m very curious – I recently tried a nice seafood tonkotsu so I’m curious how a fresh one’s going to be. Let’s check it out!
Myojo Ramen Seafood Tonkotsu – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains pork and fish. To prepare, boil 4 cups water in a pot and 1 1/4 cups water in a different pot. Cook noodles for 2-2 1/4 minutes. During this, add one sachet of soup base to the 1 1/4 cups water, combine, and add to a serving bowl. Drain noodles, and add to bowl and enjoy!
Two servings of noodles.
Two soup base sachets.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, egg, carved squid, sesame seed, chilli oil, Salad osmo mung bean sprouts, and spring onion. Noodles were very thick with an apt chew – not too chewy, not too soft. The broth imparts a kind of bacon like aroma. It is full-bodied and very savory. Rich as can be. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
