Usually I try to track down the manufacturer and this one if rather difficult. It seems that Seoul Trading is distributing it, but not the manufacturer. It’s made in South Korea, however. There are three varieties of these – this carbonara, a spicy, and a fire spicy. This one gets a South Korea label since it’s an export version for many countries. Let’s see how spicy this stuff is.
Bulramen Artificial Spicy Chicken Flavor Carbonara – South Korea
Detail of the multipack packaging (click to enlarge). To prepare, boil noodle for 5 minutes. Drain, saving 8 spoons water (these are tablespoons – 15ml each, so 120ml). Add in saved liquid, powder, and liquid sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An individual package of Bulramen.

The noodle block.
A liquid base sachet.
A powder base sachet – most likely a cheese powder.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, sesame seed, crushed red pepper, and holy basil. Noodle is really great. The thickness and chew are excellent. The sauce however is a back and forth of heat and the cheese powder which is so fake. I mean, I would say it leans more towards a mac and cheese flavor than carbonara. 2.0 out of .50 stars.
