After over 4400 reviews, finally. It’s happened. A chocolate instant noodle. To make things even more wonderful, it’s from Brazil. Thank to Cian for sending this along – yeah this has been a dream of mine for quite a while. Dessert ramen is a very fascinating thing to me. I’m guessing if you’re reading this, you’re somewhat fascinated as well. So let’s give it a try.

Here’s the noodle block. It’s about half the thickness of your standard noodle block and features a thin and dense noodle.

This sachet contains the ‘soup base’ which is chocolate flavored.

Finished (click to enlarge).  Added whipped cream, dark chocolate sauce, and milk chocolate chunks. So, how is it you’re wondering? Well, the noodle and the ‘broth’ don’t really go together all that well. The broth is kind of like hot chocolate – not sickeningly sweet and is more showcasing cacao. The noodle doesn’t pick it up so much – and it’s kind of got a barrier to it almost. Is it good? Well, it’s not bad, but good might be a stretch. I will certainly say it was a fun experience and I want to try more of these kind of things. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. 7891079013953.
