As soon as I heard about this stuff I was curious. But that was a long time ago and I’d almost forgotten why I was so curious until I did the unboxing. This stuff is made with pumpkin seed protein! That’s definitely unique. 22g of protein and 6g of net carbs. Ah, I remember net carbs. So, for every gram of fiber, you can knock off a carb. This has a ton of fiber. I’m really curious. Let’s give it a try.
immi Black Garlic “Chicken” Flavor Ramen Soup – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 2 cups water for 7 minutes. Add noodles and 1 cup cooking water to a bowl and add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sauteed chicken with soy sauce, spring onion, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. I really wanted to like this, alas… The noodle was very rubbery. It has a somewhat similar texture to konyaku but different. Felt like I was chewing on a rubber bouncy ball – and interesting sensation, however one that doesn’t sit well as a thing I would want to eat. The broth was so-so – a salty one with a kind of chicken taste, but it had a slightly bitter back to it. Like I said I really wanted to like this one, but I just can’t say I did, rather the opposite.
