The second of three new single pack varieties from Hakubaku. They’re a pretty neat company – they’ve sent me lots of different products. One I’ve really liked is their Mochi Barley. They also make barley tea as well. The ramen I’ve tried before, but not this specific flavor – it’s brand new! Let’s give it a try!

Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, Add soup sachet to 2 cups water and stir, then add in noodles and stir. Boil for 2-2.5 minutes depending on how soft you’d like your noodles to be. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chicken baked with pepper salt and NuTek Salt For Life, kizami nori, narutomaki, sesame seeds, spring onion, shichimi, and Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts. Noodles have a round gauge and nice chew with a formidable backbone. The broth is very savory – salty and deep. Great play here. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 860001589528.
