Another find at GMart in Lynnwood, WA. Out of Rancho Cucamonga comes an old standard in the Korean ramyun world. I believe the classic bowl noodle hot they made was a yukgaejang but this one seems more premium at the outset. Sounds good – let’s cook it up!
Nongshim Premium Yukgaejang Spicy Beef Ramyun Noodle Soup – United States

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains beef and chicken. To prepare, add in dry base sachet and room temperature water to line. Microwave 4 minutes at 1000W. Add in chili oil. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

An instant noodle block.

A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.

A sachet of liquid soup base.

Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, pepper thread, scallion, sesame seed, and Chinese sausage. Wow – inpressive! Noodle is great – nice bit of chew and gauge. The broth is a very savory, nicely spicy beef which works so well. Little bits of veg in there are hydrated perfectly. As far as traditional Korean ramyun instants go, this is just spectacular. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 031146014255.
