This one is particularly interesting. They changed the package design – and the brand. This has been Ottogi for years but now it’s Otoki. Perhaps a way to get westerners to pronounce the brand name correctly? Well, let’s give it a try!

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Says it contains beef. To prepare, add sachet contents and room temp water to line and microwave at 1000W for 5 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, scallion, crushed red pepper, and processed cheese. Noodle came out of the microwave perfectly. The broth has a very mushroom aroma but did have that kind of savory beef broth aspect. It was certainly mild, but incredibly savory. Possibly my favorite ramyun now. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
