Big thanks to Pher Engi for this one! When she was at a noodle shop, she asked if I’d like to review it. It had zero english on it and so of course I was game. Turns out there’s english info on the bottom of the bowl. This one has two types of noodle – vermicelli, wheat noodle as well. Not only that, it’s got an egg! Stewed egg isn’t my favorite, but it’s quite interesting to see. Let’s give this neat one a try!

Here’s the stewed egg! Very cool!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, sesame seed, and LKK Chiu Chow Chili Crisp. The interplay between the wheat noodle and vermicelli is really interesting, providing a unique mouthfeel. Broth is really wonderful – a vinegary tartness, a little nip of Sichuan peppercorn, and this really savory rich element. Vegetable included goli berry, cabbage and tofu skin. Egg turned out to be not a stewed but braised egg – whites are rubbery as expected but it was a nice touch. This was incredibly good and looking forward to the other two I have. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 6972306783465.
