Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! These boxes are discontinued, however you can find their stuff at MiauMall – here is what they said about this one – “With all of these rich flavors, you’ll need something with a touch of freshness to it! That’s where this tasty bowl of yakisoba comes in with super refreshing yuzu from Japan’s own Kochi prefecture combined with a tasty salt-based sauce, perfect for a tasty, light bite!”
Well, I’m not generally a fan of yuzu. I think it’s too grapefruity and funky – but I go into this with an open mind. Let us begin.
Myojo Charumera Yuzu Shio Yakisoba – Japan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Noodle is thin and light. The flavor of yuzu really works well; I’ve had yuzu I absolutely abhor – strong and bitter.
