#4677: Nissin Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Torched Teriyaki Chicken – United States

Nissin Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Torched Teriyaki Chicken - United States

I was contacted by Nissin USA a few weeks ago and learned about this one and it sounded interesting. Indeed, their Fire Wok bowls are quite good – especially the Sizzlin’ Rich Pork. Pack versions? Interested! So I hit them up and they provided. There’s this one and another. Let’s give it a try!

I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out. Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.

The noodle block, infused with peppers.

A sachet of seasoning base.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sesame seed, spring onion, and chicken. Noodle has a great gauge and mouthfeel – very plump and chewier than their regular fare. The spicy level is very accessible to the spicy fan, maybe bordering on painful for those who aren’t spicy connoisseurs. Flavor is kind of a sweet and hot one – not exactly teriyaki, and seemed to be full of cumin to me. But all in all, if you like it hot and you see it, it’s thoroughly worth a try. 4.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 070662205037.
