#4661: Trader Joe's Red Curry Thai Noodles - United States

Time for some more fare from Trader Joe’s. I’m really curious about this but honestly don’t know on this one. Why? Well, the other day I did a review of a variety which looks identical and was just horrible.  I really hope that this does indeed taste like red curry – that would be great. However, I’v got my doubts. Let’s find out.

I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out. Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodle and sachet contents to cup. Microwave at 1200W for 90 seconds. Stir for 30 seconds. Finally, enjoy!

A package of noodles.

A huge sachet of sauce.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added holy basil, chashu, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. This one was a nice surprise. Noodle is thick with a decent chew. The sauce tastes like red curry. It’s nice and this with a lot of… peas. It works – would pair better with thinly sliced beef. Could’ve been saltier, but all in all pretty good stuff. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.  UPC bar code 00627450.
