Here’s what they had to say – ‘Who wants to try some delicious udon (うどん)? The noodles made famous in the old Sanuki province on the island of Shikoku are a classic of Japanese cuisine. For this cup, we went straight for the curry flavor. While the weather is still cold outside, curry is perfect to warm you up inside out! Served with a bonito and chicken broth, the curry fragrance
really stands out. It’s leveled up with a fine zest of spices that will leave a lovely aftertaste lingering in your mouth. If you’re craving something quick to prepare, tasty to eat and with a little
spice kick, this is your cup.’

Well, curry. I generally do three reviews a day, each coming out in three consecutive days. This time, the third is also curry but it’s definitely time sensitive. So basically, the review you would have seen on April 27th, will be one I do on the 25th, and then the one that would have come out on the 27th will come out probably late July. Are you fascinated by this? No? Well, I like to talk about what I do so really, it’s no skin off my teeth. But for those who are interested in the wonderful inner working of the holy timepiece of knowledge that is The Ramen Rater, you’re welcome. Now, let’s have some Japanese curry.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork, chicken, beef, and fish. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 5 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.

Loose ingredients from the cup.

The soup base sachet.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added narutomaki, sesame seed, fried eggplant, mung bean sprouts, and spring onion. The noodle is pretty good – hydrated well. The broth is thick and full of curry flavor, yet it seems a little bit saltier than is really necessary which obfuscates the nice curry. Also has a kind of smokiness to it which was compelling. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.  JAN bar code 4902105271452.
