I’ve definitely had this before. It’s kind of interesting; Umai Crate intosheets often have the same variety multiple times, however they change the name of the product that’s in them. I mean, this is a Hakata ramen variety so it’s not wrong, however it’s a pretty general term for something quite sensational. Let’s give it a look!
Itsuki Hakata Ramen – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to have pork but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 450ml water for 1 minutes. Add in dry base sachet and stir. Add in wet sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!
A grip of ramen noodles!
The large dry base sachet.
A large wet sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, shichimi, narutomaki, spring onion, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, soft egg, chili oil, and sesame seed. The noodles are thin and have a very nice chew to them. They have that floury Hakata style to them which I thoroughly enjoy. The broth is just amazing – thick, rich, and giving. One of my favorite Japanese varieties. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4901726014387.
