#3735: Single Grain Hot & Sour Lava Noodles - China

Here’s another one of the ‘flower pot’ form factor large cups from China. These are generally really quite good so I’ve got high hopes for this one. Plus, it’s dry. I know it has to be. I think. I should say I screwed one of these up recently but I did redo it. Dry varieties when broth is introduced isn’t so wonderful. Let’s give this one a try.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in noodles and boiling water to fill line. Cover for 6 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A small sachet of peanuts.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added beef, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, black sesame seed, and spring onion. Noodles are very broad reminding me of a chewier biang biang. Flavor is a black vinegar and Sichuan pepper infused sauce. Peanuts as always are a welcome addition. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 6971860060395.
