I had this one a while back but the packaging was a little different, so this one gets a new review. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the laksa and ton yum kung flavor profiles coming from Sau Tao – so much that they’ve been on the Top Ten for 2 years now. What’s more is they pair them with a myriad of noodle varieties. Let’s do up some laksa!
Sau Tao Laksa Flavour Ramen – Hong Kong
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains shrimp. To prepare, boil one bundle of noodles in 500ml water for 4 minutes. Add in one of each sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Two servings of ramen.
Two joined dry soup base sachets.
Two wet sachets.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, egg, Singaporean chilli crisp, Dodo fish ball, chilli flake, and crushed salt & pepper cashewnut. A soft noodle with a lovely texture is married to an absolutely luxuriant laksa broth. Very rich and full bodied, with excellent texture, color, and a really nice flavor I thoroughly enjoyed. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 087303866847.
